Every year, households accumulate various useful products that, while useful, can threaten our health and environment if not disposed of properly. These are known as household hazardous wastes (HHW). These items are scattered throughout our homes, often without us realizing the potential harm they pose, from the garage to the bathroom. This is why the Newaygo County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on May 18th, 2024, is paramount for our community.
